This relaxing is very nice. Amazing weather so far altogether. We went to a nice beach on the lake by rowing boat and did more swimming, and then Päivi got the Sauna and dinner ready while Jenna and I went back out. Jenna took delight in jumping off the boat and swimming behind it.
We got up early today to head to Tampere, and Särkännieme - Elämyspuisto. We met up with Sesse, and after watching the dolphins show, we went on every ride. The tornado was by far the best one, and we ended up going on that a second time before the end of the day at 8pm. We retired to a self service hotel (entry was through a combination number sequence).
We wandered around Tampere for a bit in the morning, and through the park, Sesse being as mad as the other two, so some entertaining photos were called for. A nice sculpture which I need to look up when I get back. We took a wrong turn on the way out of town and stumbled upon the Tampere Cathedral, so went to take a look. Well worth the detour :) After travelling back to the cabins, we enjoyed another Sauna and Lake. I wonder if I can convert my spare room in to a sauna ...
An early start as we head in to Mikkeli. I get my first haircut in 15 years. It has made a dramatic change to my appearance, and I like the results :) My hair was ready before P@ivi's so Jenna and I went to window shop in the music store and also to get me a Yellow t-shirt. Having achieved that goal we grabbed a light snack in a small coffee place, and headed back to the hair salon. Swimming without hair for the first time was great, I was able to go under the water and not have to worry about getting hair in my eyes! I can't wait to show off my new look to all at home, they will be floored ;)
